It took a few tries to get this story accepted somewhere, but I am overjoyed that it found such a good home in excellent company. It also taught me to not give up on stories, even after many rejections.
The first publication of 2022! On Friday, my sci-fi story One More Sunrise was published by Flash Point SF. You can read it for free here!
I wrote this story after a prompt from Furious Fiction, and while it didn’t make it to the short or long list then, after a bit of editing and polishing, I am happy that it found a home in a poignant sci-fi magazine next to other great stories.
